Post-purchase behavior (or evaluation) is when a customer assesses whether s/he is satisfied or dissatisfied with a purchase after the purchase had been made. The product could be anything and fall into any product category. For this week's assignment, we'll use Amazon.com simply for a frame of reference since they have so many product categories listed. It is not necessary for you to have shopped at Amazon.

Your Assignment

Pick four product categories from this list at Amazon (you'll need to scroll a bit to see the categories) https://services.amazon.com/services/soa-approval-category.html. Then, focus on one product that you recently purchased from each of the four categories you choose. The product can be anything at any price point - the choice is yours.

Using Word, create a table to outline your analysis:

1.     What were the key features of the specific product or brand that you selected? 

2.     What were the advantages of the specific product or brand that you selected? 

3.     What were the disadvantages (or resulting disappointments) of the specific product or brand that you selected? 

4.     After cosmpleting the table, consider the positioning of the product or brand in the market. Explain how the positioning of the product or brand in the market compares to your experience with the product or brand.
